Burrabadine Walking Track
Beginning at Greenbah Campground, the trail climbs steadily to the summit of Burrabadine Peak. The trail rewards walkers with spectacular panorami views across the western plains and surrounding Alectown district. The walk follows Sawpit Gully Fire Trail before climbing to Burrabadine Peak on the Herveys Range. Along the way you’ll pass through diverse bushland featuring native vegetation and colourful wildflowers during spring.

Wildlife & Birdwatching
Goobang National Park is home to an impressive variety of native wildlife and birdlife, making it a rewarding destination for nature lovers. Visitors may spot colourful parrots, finches, wrens, eagles and the iconic Wedge-tailed Eagle, while Emus, Eastern Grey Kangaroos, Red-necked Wallabies, Swamp Wallabies, Echidnas and Koalas can often be seen throughout the park.
During the warmer months, native reptiles such as Lace Monitors, Blue-tongued Lizards, Shingleback Lizards, Bearded Dragons and Frill-necked Lizards become more active. As the day winds down, keep an eye out for Boobook Owls, Nightjars, Ring-tailed Possums, bats and frogs, adding to the park’s rich and diverse wildlife experience.
